Trevor Leaman is a Cultural Astronomy PhD researcher in the School of Humanities and Languages, University of New South Wales (UNSW). He is researching the astronomical traditions of the Wiradjuri people of central NSW under the supervision of Dr Duane Hamacher and Prof Daniel Robinson. He earned diplomas in civil and mechanical engineering, degrees in biology and forest ecology, and an MSc in astronomy. He has worked as an astronomy educator at Ayres Rock Resort, the Launceston Planetarium, and Sydney Observatory. He also tutors the unit PHYS1160 “Introduction to Astronomy and Search For Life Elswhere” at UNSW.
