Hi, I'm Marek, I'm 18 years old and I'm from little town in Slovakia - Rimavská Sobota.
I was interested in space since I was small boy
When I was 12 years old, I started to actively and succesfully participate on many different astronomical competitons and chalanges in Slovakia
4 years ago I started to visit Observatory in Rimavská Sobota frequently (every Thursday - Astronomical amateur club and every Friday - observation of nigt sky objects). First, I was just a participant of amazing lectures about our universe, but it has changed over time and I started to make my own lectures for public
Since I was 15 years old, I started to participate even many different Slovak Astronomical seminars and symposiums (Kolofota, Slovak Amateur Night Sky, etc...) where I had learned many useful, expert and important things about astronomical observations, professional astronomical calculations, variabile stars photometry, near Earth asteoroides and many more

Past Activities

-On every friday in 2019 (by the IAU 100 anniversary) during the regular night sky observations in obsertvatory in Rimavska Sobota I'm making lectures about Light Pollution issues and possible ways to solve it for public under the night sky at the telescope.
I'm making this lectures only if there is enough participants (at least 10). If there is not, I'm just reminding Light Pollution in basic lecture about night sky and its celestial objects.
There were about 9 fridays, but there were enough participants for full lecture about light pollution just about 6 times.
-I'm also having lectures abou Light Pollution in my Gymnazium (Grammar/High school) on physics lessons for students and teachers. I have already had this lecture 2 times.
- I'm even making every day in this week at afternoon during the spring holidays in observatory lectures for public about light pollution and its impact on the environment and night sky. (I have already had twn and there will be three more).
