I run the Tagua Tagua Observatory in Chile although I also make wines (which incidentally are also affected by light pollution throughout the grape ripening stage). I created the Meteorito wine which was given huge global media coverage as being the first meteorite-aged wine in the world. We are the current winners of the Chilean National Award for Tourism Innovation with our Taste the Stars project which exposes our wines and visitors to cosmic waves converted into audio.
Furthermore we have a mobile astronomy service called AstroKidz which visits schools all over the country.
I am currently trying to modify the light pollution laws in Chile to cover all observatories throughout the entire country. Currently the regulations only protects scientific observatories in the north of the country. However I gave a presentation to Chile's National Senate Environmental Commision in November 2018 to push for a modification to the current laws in order to cover scientific and tourism observatories throughout Chile. The Commission voted unanimously in favour so now it goes to the Senate for the final vote to have it passed as a new law. Fingers crossed!
