Member since 1976 in the Association Linz Astronomische Gemeinschaft (now renamed Kepler Observatory Linz, www.sternwarte.at), chairman since January 2018. Organization and direction of star tours since 1980. Construction of a Remote Observatory in a future Star Park area in Upper Austria (Hohe Dirn, remote.sternwarte.at). Lectures in educational institutions (Volkshochschule, OÖ Volksbildungswerk, etc.) Organization of public observing evenings in high-traffic places. Close contact with the Upper Austrian government for the specification of guidelines for light pollution, which are now valid throughout Austria.
