Born in 1967, italian amateur astronomer known for being author of hundreds articles on the main astronomical magazines. He has participated in international study campaigns. He also deals with historical studies of medieval astronomy.
He discovered the nearby dwarf spheroidal galaxy named Donatiello I.
The topic of light pollution has been repeatedly treated in my monthly technical columns regarding instruments to contrast light pollution and sky preservation (LPR filters, sites, LED technology), as well as in readers' mail. Likewise, in all my lectures on sky observation, there is always a short section dedicated to the problem of light pollution.
