I have a passion for Science - it explains everything around us.
I'm never bored. Looking up, looking down, looking small, looking large, I find something that's incredible wherever I look.
The only career that fulfils this passion is Science Teacher.
That way, the more I learn, the more I bring to the classroom.
The more I bring, the better my lessons.
The better my lessons, the more I pass on my passion for Science to the next generation.

I have been a major proponent of dark skies here in Australia, taking the word to the streets at every occasion.
I've used my astronomy nights to show people what their local street lights are doing to the night's sky and have been talking to the local council in regards to using shades on the tops of the streetlights to reduce light pollution.
I've also been attempting to talk to the local wineries about reducing the need for large-scale lighting at night.
Having visited Coonabarabran and seen the night sky in an International Dark Sky Park, I believe that everyone should be able to see the night sky in all its glory.
