Insperity Observatory, United States of America
Aaron is the Director of the Insperity Observatory in Humble, TX, USA. He also teaches astronomy for Lone Star College at their Kingwood and Montgomery campuses. He is an Observing Program Director with the Astronomical League, has developed a number of their observing programs and currently coordinates their Master Observer Progression. He has earned their Master Observer - Platinum Certification and also their Dark Skies Advocate Certification (certificate #1).
Since September 2009 I have been giving presentations monthly at the Insperity Observatory. Dark Skies, or the lack of them, has been a topic in the presentation at all of these outreach events (over 100). Light Pollution is a theme at all of the other observing events at the observatory as well. It is also a prominent part of my presentations at the semi-annual public star parties at the college (total of 19).
